The EBA seeks to encourage industrial members who are interested in initiating or sponsoring particular activities of the EBA, such as the PAM award for the best paper. The award was established to promote scientific research among nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychosocial workers and co-workers involved in burn care, to motivate individual investigators to undertake research in their particular field and to encourage problem solving, clinical reasoning and development of new initiatives in all aspects of patient care and treatment
